The contributions of various departments and ministries to PM CARES Fund are now accessible publicly on the Internet through the website of Public Financial Management System, coming under the Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of Finance.
Saket Gokhale, an RTI Activist, tweeted this information along with link to a PDF of details about all the contributions till 27th January. The PDF is 3755 page-long.

There's something called the Public Financial Management System (PFMS) which comes under the Controller General of Accounts, Ministry of Finance.
It records details of ALL govt expenditure by different agencies.
They claimed PM CARES is private. But it isn't.

Details about the Accounts and their various contributions to PM CARES Fund had been unknown until now. The Fund has repeatedly come under scrutiny by activists and general public. The Modi Government in Lok Sabha said that the Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund (PM CARES Fund) does not come under the section 2(h) of RTI Act since it is not a ‘public authority’ and hence the details of the accounts contributing to it cannot be disclosed. A report by Indian Express on December 7th stated that according to the responses to the RTI petitions by the newspaper, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have contributed Rs.155 Crore through salary cuts in addition to Rs. 2400 Crore through Corporate Social Responsibility funds.
