Immediately after the Taliban forces took control of Afghanistan’s capital city Kabul, hundreds of thousands of people started fleeing the country in myriad ways to escape the brutal Taliban regime.

“We cannot wait, passively, for the possible impact,” BBC quoted Greece’s Citizens’ Protection Minister Michalis Chrisochoidis saying on a visit to the region of Evros on Friday.
