Gunshots were fired in the air by unidentified people on Sunday night near Singhu border, where the farmers have been protesting against the three contentious agriculture reform laws for the past 100 days.
The shots were fired when langar was taking place at the protest site on the Haryana side of the Singhu border. Farmers said four men came in a car and fled after firing three rounds in the air.
Police suspect the miscreants were from Punjab since the vehicle they used had a number plate of the state.

The incident happened between 11.30-12 midnight. BKU Ugrahan has advised the farmers to be alert after the incident.

Another farmer committed suicide at the tikri border. The farmer Rajbir Singh belonged to the Hisar district of Haryana. Rajbir has also left a suicide note.

On the 102nd day of the farmers protest,a prayer meet was organised at Singhu Border for the 270 farmers who were martyred during the protest that has spanned over 3 months now.
