Samajwadi Party President, Akhilesh Yadav has appealed to all the followers of B. R. Ambedkar to vote for the SP in the ongoing assembly election in Uttar Pradesh.

In a joint press conference with Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Jayant Chaoudhary, he said that the objective of the SP is to throw out fascist BJP government from power in the State. In order to achieve that goal, every person who follows Ambedkar should support the SP in polls.

“ SP wants to protect the Constitution of India, democracy and protect the rights of the people of the State. Thus, BJP should be removed from power. All those people who believe in Ambedkar and his secular ideologies should extend support to SP”, he said.

Akhilesh wondered what will happen to the country if the Constitution and the democracy are not protected in the country.

He said that India is a pluralistic and multicultural country. “ We have a blend of various colors- Red, Green, White and Blue. Besides this, various communities are also supporting SP”, he claimed.

Akhilesh promised to provide jobs to unemployed youths if the party  comes to power. “Every youth who has lost a job because of the BJP, will vote against the party in UP”, he said.

Meanwhile, Jayant said that the BJP is trying to break the alliance of SP and RLD. Since many parties are joining the alliance, it has created fear in the BJP. Therefore, the party is making every effort to break the alliance. But no matter how hard the party will try, BJP will never succeed in its ill intentions of breaking the alliance, he asserted.

“ What is shocking is that Yogi Adityanath, who holds a dignified constitutional post of Chief Minister, still speaks in a very derogatory and objectionable tone. Never in the past, has any CM talked like that”, he said and added that their alliance is only getting stronger in UP.
