Farmer leaders call it Dicatarorship of the State. This is not the first instance of state and police overreach. An FIR has been registered in Shivamogga against the farmer leader Rakesh Tikait. In the FIR, Tikait is accused of making a “provocative” speech in the Ritha (farmers’) Mahapanchayat at Shivamogga Karnataka on March 20, 2021.
Gujarat farmers had decided to burn the copies of farm laws on the day of Holika Dahan. The call was given by the Kisan Sangharsh Munch organisation.
