Disha Ravi, a 21-year old Climate Activist who is a co-founder of Fridays For Future India, has been reportedly arrested by Delhi Police Special Cell from her home yesterday night for questioning.
The activist has been picked up from her home in Soladevanahalli, North Bengaluru in relation to the ‘Greta Thunberg “Toolkit” Conspiracy Case’. The News Minute has reported that the Delhi police have accused Disha of contributing written material for the toolkit. She was taken to New Delhi on a 6 pm flight on Saturday.
The Delhi Police, and many BJP Leaders and Ministries allege that the toolkit shared and later deleted by Greta Thunberg shows “an international conspiracy to defame India, and wage economic, social, cultural and regional war against India.” Greta Thunberg had later shared a new toolkit and had said that the previous one was outdated.
Delhi Police has taken cognizance of a 'Toolkit Document' found on a social media platform that predates and indicates a copycat execution of a conspiracy behind the 26Jan violence. The call was to wage economic, social, cultural and regional war against India.

The conspiracy against India lies exposed. This needs to be investigated and the guilty should be held accountable.#IndiaAgainstPropaganda #IndiaTogether #TheEnemyWithin #AxisOfEvil #GenerallySaying pic.twitter.com/8JJ8J3MqlJ

Many activists believe that the FIR against the creators of Toolkit without naming anyone is going to be used as a pretext to arrest anyone related to farmers protest. The FIR had been charged on February 4 on Sections 124A, 120A and 153 A of the Indian Penal Code.
As I had warned, the FIR against the toolkit shared by @GretaThunberg is no joke, it is the latest flimsy pretext for a witch-hunt of activists in India. A 21-year-old student & #FridaysForFuture activist in Bangalore has been picked up for questioning on this pretext. pic.twitter.com/rbxPTrD12b

Disha is a graduate of Bachelors of Business Administration from Mount Carmel College, and is working as a Culinary Experience Manager with a plant-based food-processing company, Good Mylk. Fridays for Future is an international organization advocating against Climate Change, and has its origins at the then 15-year old Greta Thunberg’s protests in front of the Swedish Parliament demanding Climate Action.
