The number of leaders leaving Trinamool Congress party in West Bengal amid the assembly elections is increasing. Commenting on this trend the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee pointing towards the BJP said, “saffron party can buy some corrupt leaders but not party loyalists”. She also said, “there is no room for corrupt leaders in Trinamool Congress. I would like them to leave the party as soon as possible. ”
The statement was issued by Mamata Banerjee on the eve of Deepak Haldar, two-time MLA from Diamond Harbor constituency, quitting TMC to join BJP. Recently, leaders such as Sudhendra Rajeeb Banerjee, Baishali Dalmiya, Prabir Ghoshal, Ratan Chakraborty and Rudravil Ghosh left the TMC and joined the BJP.

“After the resignation of Haldar, the inflatable balloons in the media are flying alive. Money earned by bad means is cleaned up in the washing mission,”Mamata Banerjee has labeled some of the BJP leaders leaving the TMC as bandits.
The CM said, “I don’t care about this. The TMC will come to power again under the Ma-Mati-Manush slogan. BJP’s inflatable balloons fly only in the media. They have taken the money. They are flying through the streets through the agency. Don’t listen to it, TMC is on your mind. If you assure me I will make sure of a good future. ”
