Farmers in Karnataka have unequivocally backed the Chakka Jam (Traffic Breakdown) issued by farmers protesting on the Delhi border for 73 days, demanding the withdrawal of the Center’s controversial agricultural laws, and have come out in solidarity.
The highway bandh fight that started across the state at 12 noon today has been mostly successful. Chakka Jam took place in almost all districts and taluks of the state today.

In solidarity with the farmers’ protest led by various farmer organizations in New Delhi, demanding the repeal of the three farm laws enacted by the BJP government of the Center, protesters marched for about an hour, shouting slogans denouncing the central government’s anti-farmer policy.
