Latest victim of Hindutva motivated mob lynching, Tabrez Ansari, a 24 year old was tied to a pole and beaten for hours. The Videos of the beating that have been widely circulated show his attackers forcing him to chant “Jai Shri Ram” and “Jai Hanuman”. He was handed over to the police. He succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
Yesterday, a madrasa teacher was allegedly pushed off a moving train for refusing to chant the same slogan in the heart of Kolkata.
The hashtag #Notojaishriram is trending number 3 on twitter with 13k tweets so far. It seems to have started in TamilNadu in response to the mob lynchings in North India.

If you are a Muslim and accused of petty theft, you should be killed. If you are a Hindu and a terror accused, you should be sent to Parliament!— Mohammad Omar (@AbuUmar00205590) June 26, 2019
Yes , I’m hindu by birth, but never say jai ram. Worship is for peace not for religion or god pic.twitter.com/AnyipIHPAx

Allahu Akbar Ho or Jai Shri Ram's slogan, if there is a reason for the death of an innocent person, then it is terrorist. #StopMobLynching #NoToJaiShriRam #IndiaAgainstLynchTerror #MyMinisters #RaiseYourIssue #MyIssue pic.twitter.com/RNsQJCczaG
