Pa Ranjith and Vetrimaaran have expressed their support for the agitation against Farm Laws through social media today. This is the first time the film directors have taken a stand on the current agitation.
Pa Ranjith has tweeted his support for the movement, saying that the Minimum Support Price (MSP) is essential for the survival of farmers, and as responsible people we should understand who is criticizing the supporters of protests. We stand with farmers & so, we support for the cause that the farmers have been fighting for the last few months. People, whoever questions farmer's protest & its supporters, should have a sense that the survival of farmers depends on MSP! #FarmersBill #StandWithFarmers

The Protests have been going on for a total of 73 days at the Delhi Borders. The farmers demand a rollback of the three laws which directly affect them and which they don’t agree to. While most of the Bollywood actors and celebrities have either remained silent or come out in support of the Farm Laws, Pa Ranjith and Vetrimaaran from Tamil Cinema have fearlessly come out in support of Farmers.
