In continuation of a week-long recent series of violent operations against Palestinian people, an Israeli airstrike on Saturday destroyed a building housing several international media offices including Al Jazeera and the Associated Press, and residential apartments in Gaza Strip. The attack happened an hour after one of the residents of the 11-storey building received a call from the Israeli military warning them of an impending attack, Al Jazeera reported. Till now various prominent Palestinian structures have been demolished by the Israeli forces, sometimes without any warning.
Hours before this attack on Saturday, a three-storey building in the Shati Refugee Camp in the Gaza City was hit by an Israeli airstrike killing eight children and two women.

In the wake of the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestine, the Indian Express has reported that Saudi Arabia has issued a call for a meeting with the foreign ministers of the world’s largest body of Muslim Nations on Sunday to discuss the Israeli violent oppression against Palestinians and the use of force to attack protesters at Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem by the Israeli police. A virtual summit will be hosted by the Kingdom, with the ministers of the 57-nation Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) “to discuss the Israeli aggression in the Palestinian territory”.
