Farmers from Doaba Punjab join the Delhi protest sites

Farmers have been protesting for over 185 days and have completed 6 months at the Delhi border fighting not just Indian govt. but harsh weather conditions in Delhi as well. But the govt refuses to resume talks and take back the three farm laws.

Farmers are undeterred in their struggle and have decided to celebrate June 5 as “Sampoorna Kranti Divas” all over the country. Samyukt Kisan Morcha has decided on this day because it was on this day in 1974 that Jayaprakash Narayan had declared “Sampoorn Kranti” and launched a mass movement against the central government.

Last year, on 5th June, the government had presented these anti farmers farm laws as ordinances. Samyukta Kisan Morcha appeals to citizens to extend their support and actively participate in the farmers movement.

Farmers will burn copies of farm laws in front of the offices of BJP MPs, MLAs and representatives: SKM

SKM has also appealed to citizens to burn the copies of three agricultural laws in front of offices of BJP MPs, MLAs and Representatives. The farmers movement has received considerable support from the citizens of the country.

On the Sampurn Kranti Diwas, all the farmers, labourers and citizens are requested to take up this call against the Modi government and make it a mass movement and force the government to repeal the farm laws.

Tribute to former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh by farmers on his death anniversary

At all protest sites farmers paid tribute to former Prime Minister farmer leader Chaudhary Charan Singh. Remembering Chaudhary Charan Singh, farmer leaders paid tribute at Kisan Ghat in Delhi.

SKM applauded his contribution to the development of agriculture, farmer and village. Chaudhary Charan Singh wanted to make the country Atmanirbhar in which the farmers – labourers and the people of the village could live happily.

The distrust of farmers in this government reminds the farmers of Chaudhary Charan Singh, who faithfully put every problem and pain of the farmers before the society and the government and ultimately resolved it.

Farmers believe that the Modi government is proving to be a corporates’ party where it does not listen to the farmers and labourers.
