Stalin tweeted a letter addressed to the PM on June 7th, pressing for cancellation of NEET during the Covid-19 pandemic, as such an entrance exam would greatly affect the psychological and physical well being of students at such a time. He stated”

“I’ve written to @PMOIndia urging him to cancel the conduct of NEET and all other national level entrance exams, keeping in mind the safety of the students, as the reasons for cancelling the class XII board exams are equally applicable to entrance exams as well.”

On Sunday, Tamil Nadu Health Minister Ma Subramanian said that the CM, in his meeting with the Prime Minister, would request more Covid-19 vaccine doses to Tamil Nadu. The CM is also to bring up the matter of the Integrated Vaccine Complex (IVC).
