Opposition parties in Karnataka will hold an online discussion on 8th June, Monday on how the state government performed on the matters of Management of lockdown, providing relief to the affected and economic recovery.
This zoom online discussion is being organized by CPI (M) party, opposition leaders like ex CMs Siddaramaiah, and HD Kumaraswami, KPCC president DK Shivakumar, CPI(M) state secretary U. Basavaraju and CPI state secretary Sathi Sundaresh will participate.
Opposition parties in Karnataka have submitted a 24 point appeal to state government urging the government to immediately respond to all those affected by lockdown by providing relief to migrant workers, economic relief to the poor and economic package to micro, small and medium enterprises. In a similar step, 22 parties have submitted alternative models to be followed to the central government too. All these issues would be discussed in the virtual meeting.
